ARC LIGHT / LEARNER HELP
Foundations learner help
Practical help for getting started, keeping a weekly rhythm and finding support.
Use the confirmation sent after enrolment to get started. This page explains course access, weekly releases, practical troubleshooting and how to contact HUF Institute.
Getting started and signing in
After your enrolment is confirmed, sign in with the email address used for your learner account. Open Arc Light Foundations and begin with its orientation and Week 1 instructions. Read the activity boundaries before starting. If the course is missing, contact us rather than purchasing again or creating another account. For a forgotten password, use the password-reset option on the sign-in screen; never send us your password.
When does the next week open?
Foundations is independent learning with twelve weekly units. Week 1 opens on your original enrolment day (day 0), then Weeks 2–12 open on days 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, 42, 49, 56, 63, 70 and 77. These are release intervals, not punitive weekly completion deadlines. You can return to material already released under the purchase and access terms. Check the release information shown in your course. If an expected week is unavailable, tell support which week and what the screen shows. Do not enrol again or pay again to try to unlock it: this must not restart your original release schedule.
Your practice and logbook
Follow the instructions attached to each activity and logbook. Use the Arc Light Method at a proportionate level: Brief, Prepare, Execute, Exit and Report. Set your purpose and boundaries, prepare what you need, act with control, finish safely, then record what happened and what to improve. Keep entries concise and relevant. Check the on-screen save or submission confirmation before leaving a form. Avoid including sensitive information about yourself or other people; contact support if a form does not save as expected.
Feedback: Use the course feedback option when available. The feedback questions are optional and responses are linked to your learner account; they are not anonymous. For access problems or a reply, email support@huf.institute instead. Never include passwords, payment-card details or private logbook content in feedback.
Completion: Follow the completion requirements shown in the course. The certificate recognises course completion; it is not an accredited qualification, professional licence or assurance of competence. If recorded completion appears wrong, tell support which activity is affected; do not repeat a purchase or enrolment.
Video and mobile troubleshooting
If a video will not play, check your connection and device sound, pause and try again, then try an up-to-date browser. Save any unsent writing before refreshing. On a smaller screen, try landscape orientation or browser zoom if a control is difficult to reach. If the problem persists, tell us the activity, device, browser and exact error; do not repeatedly submit a purchase or form.
Accessibility and comfortable participation
Choose practice within your current capabilities and the activity’s stated boundaries. Stop or adapt an activity if it is uncomfortable. Before enrolling, ask us about the support or format you need so that arrangements can be confirmed. If text, video, navigation or a form presents a barrier, describe the barrier and the format that would help. You do not need to send medical details to report an access problem.
Access, payments and refunds
Foundations is a standalone one-time purchase with no fixed access expiry while HUF Institute continues to operate and support the course. This is not an unconditional lifetime-access promise. Later paid seasons are optional and require a separate choice and purchase; there is no automatic subscription. Separately purchased Foundations access is retained if a future seasonal membership ends, subject to its own purchase terms.
If a confirmed payment is not followed by access, contact support rather than paying again or creating another account. You may cancel within 14 days after the day your purchase contract is made for a full refund, even if you have accessed or used the course. Email support@huf.institute with a clear cancellation request and your order reference if available. Your statutory rights for faulty, misdescribed or missing content remain available where applicable. Read the purchase and access terms for the applicable conditions and your rights; this help page does not replace them or decide a refund. The privacy notice explains how learner and support information is handled.
